Deleting your Osta account

1. From inside the app

Open the Osta app (customer or technician app) → My account → Account settings → Delete account, then confirm the request.

Deletion takes effect as soon as you confirm, and all your sessions on every device are closed immediately.

2. Without the app

If you can't log in to the app, send a deletion request from the email address or phone number registered on your account to the official support channels below, stating the registered phone number. We verify that you own the account before acting, and reply within a reasonable time.

3. What is deleted

• Your name, profile photo and email address.
• Your phone number — replaced with a substitute value that cannot be traced back to you and can no longer be used to log in.
• Saved addresses and their access details.
• Uploaded identity and professional documents (for service providers).
• Saved payment methods and devices registered for notifications.

4. What is kept, and why

Some records cannot be deleted immediately for legal or financial reasons. These records are kept after being separated from your personal identity, and are never used to contact you or for any marketing purpose.

• Order and financial transaction records

  The law requires accounting and tax records to be kept for a set period, and they are needed to settle what other parties to the order are owed. These records are kept after your personal data is removed from them.

• Wallet ledger

  The financial ledger cannot be edited or deleted by design, because any change would corrupt balances linked to other parties. It is kept with your identity masked.

• Open complaints and disputes

  If there is an open dispute, warranty claim or legal proceeding, the data it needs is kept until it ends.

5. Before deleting

Deletion can't be completed if you have a wallet balance or an active order that hasn't finished. Use the balance or contact support to get it refunded, wait for the open order to finish, then try again.

Account deletion is final — the account and your order history cannot be recovered afterwards.
